TB-500 is a synthetic 17-amino acid fragment of thymosin beta-4 (Tβ4), corresponding to the actin-binding region of the parent protein. Tβ4 is the major actin-sequestering protein in mammalian cells, and TB-500 retains this functional capacity in research applications.

Research interest in TB-500 has focused on:

  • G-actin sequestration kinetics in fibroblast cultures
  • Cell migration assays in wound healing models
  • Endothelial cell tube formation and angiogenesis
  • Combined protocol research with BPC-157

Supplied as lyophilised powder. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water for research use. Independently verified to ≥99% purity.

Research Handling Note
For best results, allow both the lyophilised peptide and your chosen solvent to reach ambient laboratory temperature before reconstitution. Introduce solvent slowly against the vial wall and allow the cake to dissolve without agitation to maintain structural integrity. Store reconstituted material per the specifications above. Open the reconstitution calculator → Bacteriostatic water and reconstitution consumables are supplied separately.
